Asheville is home to an amazing selection of craft breweries. The South Slope will be your best bet for hopping from brewery to brewery, but there are a few gems outside of downtown as well. Here are a few favs: Burial Beer Co. https://burialbeer.com/pages/asheville-south-slope New Belgium Brewing https://www.newbelgium.com/visit/asheville/ Wicked Weed https://www.wickedweedbrewing.com/ Zillicoah (a bit further out of town, but a gem) https://www.zillicoahbeer.com/
Asheville is located amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains and has some wonderful hiking opportunities within driving distance if you are spending a couple of extra days in the area. Some personal favorites of Monica's are Crabtree Falls and the Craggy Gardens.
The Biltmore Estate/Winery and the Omni Grove Park Inn both offer beautiful historic estates with some gorgeous mountain views. Schedule a tour of the Biltmore, spend some time at the Biltmore Winery, or make a reservation for drinks on the Grove Park Inn terrace if you're up for a something a bit nicer than hiking through the woods.
