We were next door neighbors while growing up, meeting in Kindergarten on one of our walks home from La Escuelita Elementary. From then on, we immediately became friends, walking to and from school together or balancing along the curb at the Shell gas station. I couldn't imagine my life without my childhood best friend!

We first met at LAX on a flight to Pittsburgh, PA together about 4 years ago. We sat next to each other and had a blast, and coincidentally, we were headed to the same Alpha Phi Omega national convention! As two different individuals, we both shared a passion and love for APO. Soon enough, we graduated and decided to pursue teaching together (although in different school districts). Virgil is one of the only ones who understand my pain with teaching and planning.
