When should I book my trip?

Answer

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure the group rate. The deadline to join the group package is July 18, 2025. We ask everyone to RSVP online prior to August 29, 2025.

How do I book my flight and hotel?

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, a valid Canadian passport is required to travel to Mexico. Make sure it’s not set to expire.

When do I need to arrive?

Answer

We encourage all guests to arrive to the Iberostar Selection Playa Mita by Friday November 28, 2025 latest. Our recommendation is to arrive on Thursday November 27, 2025 to leave ample time for any unexpected delays when travelling.

Yes! Children are welcome to celebrate with us on our special day!

Can I bring a friend?

Answer

We would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. If you received a plus one, they will appear with your name when you RSVP. You are welcome to travel with friends and family but they will not be authorized to attend our wedding ceremony or reception.

What is the dress attire?

While we are having a tropical wedding, we want you all looking your best! We ask you wear formal attire throughout the evening. Feel free to change after the reception is complete and we head over to the After Party!

What’s the weather like in Puerto Vallarta in late November?

Answer

Late November is considered one of the best times to visit Puerto Vallarta. Guests can expect warm, sunny days with daytime temperatures ranging from 28–30°C and cooler, comfortable evenings around 18–22°C. Rain is minimal during this period, and the ocean remains warm—ideal for both relaxation and celebration.

Will the wedding be on the beach?

No, the wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place on the Sunset Terrace overlooking the beach.

Is travel insurance required?

Answer

It’s not required, but encouraged in case of unexpected changes or cancellations that may occur for your travel. You may already have this through work or your credit cards. Travel insurance can be added through the travel agent if you book through the group rate.
