Wedding Party

Kathy Giglio

Maid of Honor

My maid of honor is Kathy Giglio, my ride or die since 2004. We met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. Through every phase of life, she has always been one of the people I can count on no matter what. She is more than just my best friend, she is family. She is an aunt to my kids, one of my biggest supporters, and the kind of person who always shows up when it matters most. Whether we're laughing until we cry, getting through hard times together, or making memories together with our children, she has been by my side through it all. I chose Kathy as my maid of honor because she has stood beside me for over two decades with loyalty, love, honesty, and endless support. She knows me better than almost anyone and has helped me through so many important moments in life. and of course, most important, she's my "sugar mama" and my "baby mama". (Joking!) But truly she is the best, she has always spoiled the people she loves with her generosity, kindness and her big heart.

Joshlynn Anderson

Matron of Honor

My matron of honor is my first cousin Joshlynn, but growing up, we were more like sisters. Being only 8 months apart meant we spent our entire lives side by side making memories together. From childhood to adulthood, she has always been one of my closest people. We’ve shared family holidays, created random dances, gone through hard times, celebrations, and some unforgettable nights out. She definitely likes to bring out my party side. She is an amazing mother, and I’m so honored to be the godmother to her children. Our bond goes far beyond cousins; we truly are family in every sense of the word. She has been one of biggest supporters as I begin my journey through nursing school. She has encouraged me, checked on me, believed in me, and reminds me that I can do hard things. Her support means more to me than words can explain. I chose her as my matron of honor because she has been a lifelong best friend, a constant source of love and support, and someone who has stood beside me through every chapter of life. Having her next to me on my wedding day feels exactly right.

Jessica Charres

Best Woman

Jessica and I (Eddie) have been best friends for the last 15 years, which is honestly impressive considering the number of bad decisions, cheap beer, and cigars we’ve survived together. We met at work, where we quickly realized we shared the same talents: working hard, giving each other endless grief, and somehow turning “just one drink” into an all-night event. Over the years, we’ve seen each other at our absolute worst, bad breakups, questionable outfits, terrible ideas, and mornings where neither of us wanted to know what happened the night before. I had the honor of being the best man at her wedding, and now she gets the chance to return the favor and publicly embarrass me in front of everyone I love. Fair is fair. Jessica is also the honorary aunt to my daughters, which means she somehow went from cigar-smoking drinking buddy to trusted role model. Which is a promotion none of us saw coming. Despite all the sarcasm, trash talking, and mutual blackmail material we’ve collected over the years, she’s one of the most loyal, dependable, and important people in my life. At this point, calling her a friend doesn’t really cover it. She’s family, a slightly dysfunctional family, but family, nonetheless. And honestly, if she’s not standing next to me at my wedding, she’d probably just heckle me from the audience anyway.
