Matron of Honor
I met Monica in 10th grade history class. Although, I didn’t know her as Monica, she told me her name was Shaniqua. From then on we were inseparable. Monica and I went through my awkward phase - I would say our awkward phase but anyone who knows Monica knows she was always beautiful, smart and just a little bit wild. If you need any embarrassing stories about Monica I’m your girl. We would road trip, sing until we lost our voices, dance until we fell asleep, and laugh until we cried. When Monica fist told me about Connor I wasn’t so sure how a guy was going to fit into our relationship. I’m happy to say Connor is always happy to chat on the phone with us,come out with Monica to visit, and support our co-dependent relationship. I can’t wait to celebrate this couple and meet you all in June!
Best Man
I’m Connors brother.
Maid of Honor
Monica came roaring into my life when I transferred to UVU, and she changed my world! It all started when We randomly went to a movie on a week night and the rest is history. Monica is my ride or die! My best friend! I love going to concerts, matinee movies, Mongolian bbq, road trips, and having so many more spontaneous adventures with her. Then that one guy had to come around and screwed it all up. It took some adjusting, but ultimately things have turned out okay, I guess. I’ve never seen her so happy! And if Connor is smart he’ll keep her that way...or I’ll put him in choke hold (again). Connor, consider yourself warned. In all seriousness, I’m wishing you two a world of happiness! I love you both! Thank you for letting me be part of your special day.

I’ve known Monica my entire life. She will tell you I ruined her first birthday. But I was the best birthday gift she’s ever gotten. She’s my nursing school buddy, road trip partner (who has only almost killed us a handful of times), roommate, and friend. When Conner came into the picture I instantly thought “this redneck is going to fit right into this family.”

I met Moni when I was a senior in high school, she was my track coach. After I had graduated she asked me to move in with her and I did. This made our coach athlete relationship a little more intimate. I’m pretty sure she is the only person who I can laugh with hysterically at any given time, even when laughing is extremely inappropriate (This happens more than it should) Over the years Monica has claimed me as her daughter and I have accepted her as my mom. She says she’s here to guide and mentor me as I attempt to make adult decisions. I don’t think very many of her life lessons will actually help me be a functional adult but we have fun. so congrats to my Mom and Connor for sealing the deal. I’m not going to call him dad though, even if there is a fire.

Ive known Connor for a very long time. I like to think i've been a good friend to him. Except for the time in lost his dog for a week, but we wont get into that. I believe i've made up for it over the years, plus here i am in the wedding party so i guess everything is good. Its crazy to think Connor is getting married! Good luck man! Im excited for ya.

I met Monica when I was 15 or 16. It was about the same time I was mackin on her brother. Mitch is great and all, don’t get me wrong, but when it came time to choose someone to be next to me out on the water, on top of that tube holding on for dear life Monica was the one. I remember one time, we must have been being pulled by Phil because we were genuinely fearing for our lives; I felt my grip slipping and knew I would soon meet my maker. All of the sudden I felt this huge pain in my ass. Monica had grabbed me by my swimsuit bottoms and with one hand pulled me back up to safety. Thats when learned who monica was and over the years it’s become more clear. Monica might be a giant pain in your ass but she’ll never let you drown. Connor you picked a hell of a women. A black proud woman.
