What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding will begin promptly at 2PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Lindenwold, NJ. Please be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Question

Are children invited to attend the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love and adore all of the children in our life, we are only able to invite a few close family member’s children. Please think of our wedding as your night out, free of kiddos!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Just ask for the Hummel/Thomas Wedding block! Please see "Travel" page for details.

Question

May I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have an amazing photographer (Colleen Stepanian Photography) that will be capturing our special day for us! We politely ask that phones/cameras be put away during the ceremony to ensure that our photographer can get some unobstructed shots. During our reception, please take as many photos as you'd like and don't forget to use our hashtag, #HummelyEverAfter

Do I need to show a negative test or proof of vaccination?

Answer

Collingswood Grand Ballroom does not require negative COVID tests or proof of vaccination at this time. In speaking to our guests, it seems that many people are already vaccinated or will be vaccinated by the wedding (yay science!). We strongly encourage those who are not vaccinated to become fully vaccinated prior to the wedding or to limit contact with others the week leading up to the wedding to keep other guests safe. We encourage all guests to have a COVID test the week of the wedding so that we can live it up without putting anyone at risk. We kindly request that unvaccinated guests wear masks whenever they are not at their table eating or drinking.
