In the running for best Mexican in Dallas. Everything on the menu is fire.
Great vibes. Great patio. Get the iced tea.
Boujee but famous for a reason.
Almost assuredly the best fajitas in the state. Also, the true home of the first frozen marg. More than one and you're in trouble.
Often called "Mid Cocina" the food won't wow you, but is there a cooler (richer) place in the heart of Highland Park? Make sure to check out Monkey Bar and get the famous "Mambo Taxi." Speaking of which, take a Taxi after consuming.
Michelin recommended. Famous people abound. Get a reservation if you can.
Our first date spot. Honestly, super fun. Great environment and even better location.
Not quite Austin level but great barbecue. Easy order: "quarter pound brisket, one pork rib, quarter pound jalapeno sausage." Pause...then add, "Also, could I have some burnt ends?"
I'll go to bat that this is the best burger in Dallas. If you go, you can also drive/walk around White Rock Lake/the Arboretum where I proposed to Monica.
I go here every single Saturday morning. I get a Shug with Everything Bagel, Scrambled Egg, Sausage, American Cheese, add Salt, Toasted. Monica gets the Spicy Shug. You can't go wrong here. Pro tip: place your order for Saturday morning on Friday night.
Monica would be mad if I didn't include this. Uchiba is part of Uchi but cheaper and chiller (sic). Go during happy hour to get super cheap Salmon Ngiri. Amazing.
Detroit style pizza that is simply the best. Dave Portnoy flew to Texas and tried it out.
Fun little Asian spot on Lower Greenville. Good area to walk around after eating.
I highly doubt you're coming to Dallas to eat an expensive steak, but if you want one, I'd go here. Famous place. Probably will see a Dallas Cowboy or Maverick (because we won't be in the playoffs RIP Luka) in the restaurant.
Divided opinions but if you're from real Highland Park, you love this place.
Can't beat it. Classic country style food. One look at the cooks and you will know the food is unbeaten.
If you've made it this far down the list, might as well just go to Chick Fil A. Decision fatigue is real.
