It's typically (yes, pun intended) customary to tip around 10%. To make it easy, however, most bars and restaurants usually include a 10% service fee so you won't have to worry about math. Please check your receipts.

Tourists in Colombia are exempt from the 19% VAT (tax) on tourism-related services. You can get a refund on your 19% Colombian IVA value-added tax at the airport before departing the country.
Unfortunately, there is no Uber in Colombia. Most hotels offer taxi services. Keep in mind you will need to pay the drivers in cash. If you would feel more comfortable hiring a driver in advance to pick up and drop you off at the airport let us know and we can help arrange that.
