There is a free on demand shuttle service called TART which can help you get around the Truckee/Tahoe area. It's easiest to use by downloading the TART app.

There are both small hotels and Airbnb/VRBO options in Tahoe! We highly recommend booking sooner than later as Tahoe is a desirable vacation spot. We encourage you to stay in or around Tahoe City. If you do not have a rental car, staying in Tahoe City will allow you to walk to the lake, shops, and bars.
