Question

What Can I Expect on Saturday, July 17?

Answer

Guests will make their way to the Saint James Chapel for the 5:15 p.m. wedding Mass. Buses will transport guests from the Chapel to the Chicago Illuminating Company for cocktail hour, which will be held in the venue's main room, with its wall of French doors open to the outdoors. Dinner will be served in the adjoining open-air tent. Dancing to the band will take place back in the main room, with the French doors remaining open throughout the evening. Buses will be running from the reception back to the hotel-block area beginning at 9:30 p.m., with the last drop-off at 1:00 a.m.

Question

Will Adult Guests Need to be Vaccinated in Order to Attend?

Answer

Yes. Given Chicago's changing COVID-19 regulations, and because we will be including a number of children in our wedding, we are asking adults to attend only if they will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 17 (having received their last vaccine shot at least two weeks prior to the event).

Question

Will Proof of Vaccination Be Required?

Answer

No. Neither Swift & Sons (the welcome party venue), the Chapel, the Chicago Illuminating Company (the reception venue), nor our private buses are requiring proof of vaccination.

Question

Will Masks Be Required?

Answer

No. Neither Swift & Sons (the welcome party venue), the Chapel, the Chicago Illuminating Company (the reception venue), nor our private buses require that vaccinated guests wear masks. Other Chicago venues that you may visit during your stay might require masks.
