From Fairways to Forever We met at LSU in 2016. Landon, born in Austin and raised in Baton Rouge, had just wrapped up his college golf career. Monica had just moved from Mexico to play for LSU—two golfers, two journeys, one friendship that few years later became something special! After years of chasing pro golf dreams—Monica finishing her collegiate seasons and earning her MBA, and Landon traveling the world on PGA Tour Latin America—we grew side by side. Monica caddied for Landon on tour, and Landon supported Monica as she pivoted into business development. Life changed, but we always walked the journey together. On our 5-year anniversary, Landon proposed in the exact spot, replicating our first official date—by the Mississippi River at sunset, with pizza and wine in hand. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our forever in Cancún with the people we love most. Thank you for being here!!!
