We decided to officially move our wedding from Annandale Golf Club in LA to Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, OR! Venues in Deschutes Country are approved to have outdoor gatherings of up to 250 people with certain precautions in place that we've outlined at the bottom of this page. We're very excited to keep our date and hope that you can make it, but completely understand if you're not comfortable under the current conditions. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly with any questions :)
Connor and Monica both attended the University of Portland, studied business and shared several mutual friends. Despite these similarities, and UP having a student body of less than 4,000, they never met on campus. It wasn't until 4 years after Monica graduated and was living in Grants Pass, Oregon heading up marketing for her family business that she received a message from one Connor Snashall on Instagram. After casually chatting for a couple weeks and discovering they had many things in common such as their fierce love for their families and Costco, Connor made the 4 hour drive down to Grants Pass to take Monica to brunch. They spent the rest of the day getting to know each other, sharing stories, and laughing. Connor knew he hadn't made a mistake driving the 4 hours to meet her, and it didn't hurt there was an In-N-Out on his way out of town. They dated long distance for 6 months making the long drive to see each other, at which point Matt Jordan, Monica's dad, suggested that Monica move to Portland to "see if you want to marry this guy." He saw what Monica's whole family did, that Monica had finally met her match. Connor didn't wait for Matt to change his mind and showed up a few weeks later in Grants Pass with a moving truck to take Monica back to Portland with him and help her move into her new apartment. Since then, Monica and Connor have spent time exploring Portland, visited 5 different countries (Monica hadn't left the states prior) and both work at Nike. They have a tight group of amazing friends (see the wedding party!) and host a family dinner every Sunday at Connor's house with friends and family.
In August, 2019 Connor proposed to Monica on the beach at sunset in Pacific City, Oregon. He surprised her by inviting both of their families and friends to celebrate with them for the rest of the weekend, including Monica's beloved grandma, Marilyn Jordan. It was a weekend that the couple will never forget, and they can't wait to celebrate their marriage with you this August!
