9 years ago Moni decided to go to a house party in Kendall, Miami. At the same time, Marc was made aware of such party which he obviously did not pass up. Moni and Marc were introduced by a common friend and the perfect conversation starter was Moni's accent. Like any house party in a quiet neighborhood in Miami, the cops were called. However, Moni and Marc's conversation kept going as they decided to stroll around the neighborhood waiting for everything to simmer down. That day, Marc asked for Moni's number and they have been together since. Through college and medical school Moni and Marc have been each other's rock. On March 12, 2022 they were on vacation in Napa Valley. Marc convinced Moni that a friend needed them for a brand wine shoot. As the couple got some pictures drinking wine, Moni turned around and there was Marc in one knee. In true Moni fashion, she did not see the ring and instead told Marc "get up, we are in a shoot!".
