We take the health of their loved ones seriously. We will livestream our wedding for those who feel unwell, or are uncomfortable about being in social gatherings of 50-60 people. We encourage the wearing of masks for those who would feel more comfortable with protective coverings; however, we respect the choice of those who choose to remain unmasked. In all things, we want our loved ones to stay well and be comfortable. We do understand that looks differently for everyone. However, if you aren't feeling well, please enjoy the ceremony from the comfort of your home.
Tarek and I are casual people. Sundresses or slacks and a button up will be perfect for the occasion. Just make sure you feel good, look good, and that you’re comfortable!
The doors will open at 12:30pm. The ceremony will begin at 1:00pm. Once the ceremony starts, guests will not be permitted to enter until the ceremony is over. It will be short and sweet, so if you’re late, you just might miss it! Immediately after the ceremony, the wedding party will take pictures. During the picture session, other wedding guests will wait in the ceremony area. The reception will include toasts from the bridal party, our first dance, a couples game, light boxed lunches, and closing prayer. The day is scheduled to conclude around 4:30pm.
We are both lighthearted, relaxed, and go with the flow people, so we think our wedding day should be a reflection of us. While we love the idea of a formal black tie event, that isn't us. We ultimately are hoping for a fun day with friends and family! We want our day to be simple with lots of significant elements and tons of love around us.... what else do you need?!
Now! While it's never too early, we will ask that all RSVPs are in by April 22, 2022.
Absolutely, please do! But we ask PLEASE not during the ceremony.
Our wedding/reception is by invitation only. It will be noted on your RSVP link if you’re able to bring a “plus one.” We are still exercising an abundance of caution regarding Covid-19. An additional person will increase the number of individuals in the space, which ultimately heightens the possibility of exposure to Covid-19. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Individuals who would still like to celebrate in our joy can check out the livestream of our ceremony at https://loveca.st/0622-YY6D6HK
No, but you can check out the "Travel" tab on our website for more information about potential places to stay.
