To our family and friends, Thank you for being part of our story. Your love, support, encouragement, and friendship have helped shape the lives we’ve built together. As we celebrate this next chapter, we’re especially grateful to be surrounded by the people who have laughed with us, supported us, and loved us through every season of life. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! With love, Nick, Haley, Armani, Vincenzo, and Baby #3
Our story began on December 27, 2020, thanks to our childhood best friends, who were dating at the time. One introduction was all it took, and before long we were spending every chance we could together. Our story carries an especially meaningful connection to my childhood best friend, Olivia, who helped bring us together. Olivia has since passed away, and not a day goes by that she isn’t missed. I will forever be grateful for the role she played in our story. Because of Olivia, what started as a simple introduction became a love story, three beautiful children, and a lifetime together. Though she won’t be with us physically on our wedding day, her memory will always be a part of it. It didn’t take long for everyone around us to realize we were inseparable. We spent nearly every day together from the moment we met, and in the very early hours of New Year’s Day 2021, Nick asked me to be his girlfriend. The rest is history.
Not long into our relationship, we received the news we had been hoping and praying for. After I unexpectedly passed out at school and was taken to the hospital, a doctor told us we were expecting our daughter. Nick immediately teared up with excitement, and it remains one of our favorite memories. In May 2022, we welcomed our daughter, Armani, and in December 2023, our son, Vincenzo, joined our family. Becoming parents has been the greatest adventure of our lives. Between raising our little ones, trying new restaurants, going fishing, and taking our kids on new adventures, we’ve built a life that is wonderfully chaotic and completely ours. As if life wasn’t exciting enough, we’re currently waiting to meet Baby #3! We don’t know if we’re having a boy or a girl yet, but by the time we say “I do,” our newest little one will be about a year old and celebrating right alongside us.
On November 4, 2023, during our maternity photoshoot while we were expecting Vincenzo, Nick decided to show off his acting skills. He convinced me that his wallet had fallen out of his pocket and somehow managed to get me into the perfect position. As I turned around expecting to help him find a missing wallet, I instead found him down on one knee. The wallet was never missing, but I was completely surprised. Of course, I said yes. Thankfully, the photographer was there to capture every second of it, making one of our favorite memories last forever.
How We Love Each Other One of the greatest gifts in our relationship has been having someone who truly believes in us. From the very beginning, we’ve encouraged each other to chase our dreams, overcome challenges, and become the best versions of ourselves. Nick has always brought joy, laughter, and positivity into my life, while I’ve loved supporting him as he pursued trade school and built a career in welding. Through every season of life, we’ve been each other’s biggest supporters. Whether we’re trying a new restaurant, spending the day fishing, taking the kids on adventures, or simply enjoying time together at home, we’re happiest when we’re together. We’ve faced exciting milestones, unexpected challenges, and everything in between, but we’ve always chosen each other. Through every obstacle, we’ve grown stronger as partners, parents, and best friends. One of our favorite things about each other is our shared love for family. Becoming parents to Armani and Vincenzo has been the greatest adventure of our lives, and with Baby #3 on the way, our hearts continue to grow. At the end of the day, we’re each other’s best friends, biggest supporters, and favorite people to do life with. We are so grateful for the life we’ve built together and excited for all the adventures still to come.
