Monay and Jayden’s story began in 2018 at Michigan State University. They were both just freshmen, stepping into a new chapter of life, excited, curious, and figuring everything out as they went. What started as two students simply navigating campus life quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Their very first interaction came when Jayden invited Monay to join him and a group of friends for ice cream. It was simple, casual, and completely unplanned, but that moment marked the beginning of something special. From that day forward, their connection continued to grow. As college went on, Monay and Jayden became inseparable. They spent the majority of their time together, building memories through everyday moments that slowly turned into the foundation of their relationship. From walking across campus between classes, study sessions, spontaneous trips out of state, and celebrating life’s milestones together, they experienced it all side by side. With each season of life, their bond deepened and their love continued to grow stronger. In 2021, their little family grew with the addition of their fur baby Ace, who quickly became a huge part of their lives and brought even more joy, laughter, and personality into their home. Then in 2023, their world became even brighter with the arrival of their beautiful daughter Mylah, who instantly became the heart of their family. Through every stage of life, they have continued to choose each other, support each other, and grow together. Their journey has been filled with love, patience, laughter, and a deep friendship that has only strengthened over time. On October 18, 2024, Jayden chose the perfect moment to take the next step in their journey together and asked Monay to marry him. It was a heartfelt and unforgettable moment that made an already special day even more meaningful. Monay and Jayden are beyond excited to take the next step and become one on August 15, 2026. They cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
