Another Hotel Option in the City. From the hotel, its about a 10-15 minute car ride to the castle. For those using public transport, a bus runs directly from the hotel to the University campus, which is right next to the castle. From the bus stop, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the venue.
Flight
Depending on your departure location, you can fly into Stockholm or Copenhagen Airport. From both airports, you have the option to take a train, bus, or rent a car to reach Växjö. From Washington, DC: There’s a direct flight with SAS to Copenhagen, and from there, you can take a train to Sweden and Växjö—a scenic journey of about 2.5 hours. This is a great option if you’d rather avoid a layover before flying to Stockholm. Why not make it a weekend in Denmark first? Then, head to Sweden and discover why it’s so much better here! 😉 From Stockholm: If you fly into Stockholm, you can: - Take a train to Växjö (about 3.5 hours with a transfer). - Drive (approximately 5 hours, or less—depending on your driving skills!). - Take a domestic flight from Stockholm to Växjö Airport.
