Our Story

10.11.17

Our story dates back to 1980s when a boy was born on the southern shore of Persian Gulf and a few years later, a girl set her baby feet into this world 1000 mile away in Tehran. By the time the girl turned 18, she decided to depart her homeland to live in USA. On the other side of the globe, as though they couldn’t be more than 1000 miles away from each other, the boy ended up moving to Canada. The girl moved from Michigan to California to Saba until she settled down in New York where all the magic happens. In the meantime, the boy moved from the french capital of North America, Montreal, to Toronto. He couldn’t resist the magic of the city that never sleeps so he too ended up in the big apple. And on a not so cold night in October, the boy met the girl, his heart skipped a beat and that is how our story began.

The Proposal

7.26.19

She always wanted to be proposed on the beach while surrounded by her family. So when they travelled to Indonesia for a family friend’s wedding in Bali, the time, place and the condition couldn’t be more perfect. On the night of July 26th, while having a special couple dinner in a chapel filled with candles and flowers facing the beach, her parents and brother perfectly positioned far enough so she wouldn’t see them but not too far so they could see her, after being serenaded Ed Sheehan’s “I found a woman” song by a live band, he popped the question and she said yes while joined by her parents and brother.
