Getting to Horning's Hideout
Driving directions: Horning’s Hideout is about 35 minutes west of downtown Portland in North Plains, Oregon. From Portland Take Highway 26 West approximately 15 miles to the North Plains/Glencoe Road Exit 57. Turn right (North) from the exit onto Glencoe Road. Take Glencoe Rd. approximately 1.5 miles to a left fork that is Pumpkin Ridge Road. Follow Pumpkin Ridge Rd. for 5 miles to Brunswick Canyon Road, which is an easy to miss gravel road on the right – there will be signs for Horning’s Hideout. Follow Brunswick Canyon Road down, down, down into the canyon. The wedding is at the Creekside area. If you are driving in we’ll have a few signs to direct you down to the parking area. Basically once you enter Horning’s Hideout you’ll pass a small barn on your left. Take the road on the right down past the parking for disc golf. Keep going until you see a small pond on your left and the parking for the wedding will be on the right. You should see a small building (that’s the bathrooms) and a gravel path continuing down to the venue. If you are planning to take the shuttle it will drive you right to the site! The shuttle will leave from the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express Portland West/Hillsboro (5900 NE Ray Cir Hillsboro, OR 97124) at approximately 2:45pm and 4:00pm. This is a very short walk (~5 min) from the Orenco MAX Blue line stop. The shuttle will also make return trips from Horning’s Hideout starting at 9:00pm. Feel free to arrive early, starting at 3:00pm. We’ll have yard games out as well as some snacks and drinks. The ceremony will start at 5:00pm, followed by cocktail hour dinner, music and dancing! And hopefully star gazing! Horning’s Hideout also has disc golf, fishing, trails and paddleboats should you want to add to your outdoor experience 😊.
Shuttle
Shuttle from Hillsboro to the Wedding Venue

We have booked a shuttle bus to provide transportation from Hillsboro to the wedding venue. If you would like to stay in Portland proper, the shuttle will be easily accessible from the Hillsboro MAX (Portland light rail) Orenco Station stop. The shuttle will leave from and return to the Holiday Inn Express Portland West/Hillsboro parking lot (5900 NE Ray Circle Hillsboro, OR 97214) Shuttle to Horning's Hideout Departures at 2:45pm and 4:00pm Shuttle back from Horning's Hideout Departures at 9:00pm, 10:15 (approx.) and final departure at 11:30pm.

MAX Blue Line
The MAX Blue Line is the easiest way to get to the shuttle pickup if you are not driving/ubering and staying in Portland. The shuttle will leave from/return to the Holiday Inn Express Portland West/Hillsboro (5900 NE Ray Circle Hillsboro, OR 97124) which is a 7 minute walk from from the Orenco stop.

Travel Note
Camping at Horning's Hideout
The wedding venue has camping available on the night of the wedding! If you want to camp with us, bring a tent and sleeping bag. FYI we will only have the campsite from 11am the day of the wedding until 11am the next morning so you will need other accommodations for any additional nights you are staying. There are other campsites nearby (L.L. Stub Stewart State Park) if you want to make a whole camping trip of it :). The campsite at Horning's Hideout can accommodate RVs - just make sure to let us know if you plan to bring one!
