We do not have any officially designated speakers. However, if you would like to give a speech or share a few words, we would love that and would be honored. Please let us know in advance so we can keep a head count of everyone who would like to speak.
We don't have a hotel block but we have arranged for a discounted rate. See transportation and hotel page for full details .
The dress code is formal/festive attire. Anything that makes you feel fantastic! It’s a half Persian wedding, and Persians love to go all out ; so don’t be shy about showing up in your ultimate ballgown attire. The sky’s the limit. That said, it’s also half Washingtonian… so if your first instinct is Patagonia, we understand ...please don’t. Just kidding! We want everyone to feel comfortable, dressed up, and ready to celebrate.
Yes! Chambers Bay has ample public parking available for guests, including multiple parking areas on-site.
The wedding will be both outdoors and indoors. The ceremony and parts of the celebration will take place outside, and there will also be a tented area for the reception and dance floor. In true Washington fashion, we’re prepared for a little rain too!
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM, so please plan to arrive by 4:45 PM to allow time to park, get settled, and find your seat before the ceremony starts.
We kindly ask that guests do not take photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. We will have professional photography capturing everything, and there will be plenty of time for photos before and after.
Yes, guests are welcome to walk around and enjoy the golf course grounds. If you arrive early, you may see wedding photography in progress, and there may also be photos happening after the ceremony. Feel free to take breaks and explore, but please respect any posted course rules and stay mindful if any golf games are still in progress. Most importantly, relax and enjoy the celebration!
Please let us know when you RSVP so we can make the appropriate arrangements and ensure you’re well taken care of on the day.
The ceremony and reception will take place on concrete floors, so most formal shoes are perfectly fine. If you plan to explore the golf course grounds, we recommend bringing a second pair of shoes especially if you’re wearing heels so you can comfortably walk on the grass and enjoy the scenery.
We will do our best! There will definitely be plenty of Persian dancing throughout the night, and we’ll help everyone join in so no experience is needed, just enthusiasm.
