During the 2020 pandemic, Momo would start each day by going to Starbucks to get her favorite drink, an iced chai latte. Before the pandemic, Evan worked as a Barista at Starbucks, but at a different location than the one that Momo frequented. Once Covid hit, all the Starbucks locations that did not have drive-thrus began to shut down, and Evan got transferred to the Starbucks that Momo liked to visit. Almost one year after Momo started going to Starbucks for her daily treat, she became friends with several baristas who worked there. They invited her to join them to go out for dinner. Evan just happened to also be part of that dinner group. From there, Momo and Evan got to know each other better, and he asked her out on a Valentine’s Day dinner date. They have been together ever since!
