we’re getting married!

In 2019, while working at Castle Hospital, Maddie walked into Momi’s patient’s room to offer a helping hand. In true Momi fashion, she politely (but very clearly) declined. That was our first real moment: quick, simple, and, somehow, the start of everything. From coworkers to best friends, feelings maybe were sneaking in when we were least expecting. Somewhere along the way—after a weekend full of friends, weddings, and brunches, things shifted. (Shoutout to Andrea and Nicole lol) What had always felt easy and familiar suddenly felt like something more. In August 2024, we got engaged—just the two of us at home, lying in bed, deciding this was it. No grand gestures. Just a quiet, certain kind of yes. Now, here we are, living on our family’s property in Waimanalo with our girl Vino—the exact space we plan to have you all witness and celebrate our love for one another. We can’t wait.
