The role of Cupid was played by the lovely Allene Zvara. Allene has known Sarah and her family for about 20 years and she leads the equestrian program at Seamark Ranch, where Sarah volunteers. Matt met Allene last year in the gym at Timuquana Country Club. After riding with Sarah one day, Allene went to the gym and told Matt that she had a girl for him, so she gave him her number, he texted her right away, we went out the next night, and have been inseparable ever since.

The last day of our 4 day trip to New York was a big one. We went to the Yankee game, caught a foul ball, walked through Central Park, then headed over to Dumbo for dinner. We went to Juliana's for pizza and met the pizza king himself, Patsy Grimaldi. When we left, it was raining lightly and the Manhattan skyline was lit up beautifully. Just after we got to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Matt pulled out the ring and popped the question! We were the only ones there (thank you, rain!) and it was the most perfect and romantic moment. We stayed on the Promenade for a little while to soak it all in, then went over to the perfectly quaint, Congress Bar, for a glass of champagne. Matt knocked it out of the park!
