We have a discount code for a hotel in downtown Portland, ME! Check out the travel page for more details. There are also many AirBnBs in the area.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We have buses picking up guests at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in downtown Portland, Maine. There is also plenty of parking at the venue. After the reception, the shuttles will stop at our after party (at $3 Deweys) then at the hotel. After the after party, plan to walk (9 min) or uber back to the hotel.

Yes, the venue has plenty of parking for guests. Alternatively, we have a shuttle from the hotel in downtown Portland.

Where are the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The ceremony and reception are just steps away from each other. Both are at the Greenhouse at Highland Farm.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 2:30-2:45pm to find a seat and settle in before the ceremony starts promptly at 3pm. If you're taking the shuttle, be at the hotel no later than 2:15pm.

Is the ceremony outdoors?
Answer
Yes, our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting). We recommend you bring an umbrella if rain is forecasted! Please note the ceremony will be in a wildflower garden, so there will be bees and bugs. The reception is inside a greenhouse.

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Anywhere that isn't marked as "reserved" is great - no need to pick sides!

Can I take photos?
Answer
Please do not take photos during the ceremony. After the ceremony, please feel free to take photos/ videos and share them with us afterwards!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! It is limited to signature cocktails, beer, wine, and NA options.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Please let us know your dietary restriction(s) when you RSVP and we'll do our best to accommodate. If you're allergic to peanuts, please don't use the drink glasses and stick to the compostable cups.

Thank you in advance! We have everything we need at home and consider your presence at our wedding a gift in itself. However, if you'd like to give us a gift, we have a few cash funds on our registry.
