We're Getting Married!

As many of you know Billy and I went to high school together... however, I was 14 and he was 18. So of course this was not the start of our story. Our story begins in the summer of 2020, June 24 at 9:04pm to be precise. I had recently gotten out of a relationship when I get a Facebook message from this guy. The message reads "Hey"... I know he's a real smooth talker right??? Now I'm 17 at the time that I get this message, so I am like "why is this old guy messaging me?". But you know what I was 17 so I did respond 2mins later with a simple "Hey". He then again responds with "What's up". I of course ignore the message because I don't know this guy and IM LITERALLY 17! A few days go bye and I get this message and it says "??". Now I am in the grocery store with my mom so I tell her about it. She is like "Molly your have no business responding to someone so old" to which I say "yea mom your right". However I actually also respond back to him with a question mark... thats a 17 year old curious brain for you. A few more days go by and I don't hear anything. So I am just moving past this interaction, because what else would I do. Im too busy hanging with my friends at this point. BUT THEN June 29th rolls around... I get ANOTHER text from him and it says "Hey" (I know what your all thinking... really billy you could have put in more effort.". Now I am with my friends at this point so I tell them about it. To which Grace says to me "well message him back" so of course I do. (Im a 17 year old girl who is getting texts from a 20yr old guy what else was I gonna do?) Now we message back and forth a bit but my responses are dry. He eventually asks for my Tik Tok... at this point I stop answering because why would you want my Tik Tok user name??? Weird right? But an hour goes by and Im bored so I tell him my user name, because you know what why not. Little did I know he would look me up and watch all of my videos! Then he asks if I am still dating my ex boyfriend at the time. I say "no" to which he responds with "Okay lol, just didn't wanna step on any toes". I don't answer this because I didn't know what to say. A month or so goes by and we are on and off talking, now I'm not super interested so he messages MY BEST FRIEND at the time while I am with her. So of course now I'm mad, but it also grabs my attention. I start messaging him and eventually tells me he likes me on September 9th. I am thinking "bro I have never met you before?" but of course I respond with I kinda like you too but I'm not looking for anything serious. He doesn't care because he's going to work on the road. I think to myself "fantastic this won't get serious". Little did I know... By November 13th he is telling me that he loves me. I of course say I love you too because by now I am obsessed with him. A few months goes by and Billy comes home. He says "I'd like to take you on a real date" so I say okay let me tell my mom and dad. At this point I'm 17 and he's 21. When I tell you I have never been so scared to tell my mom and dad about someone in my life I mean it. They say they want to meet him so we plan it. Our date goes really well because at this point we have known each other for a while. A few months go by and he asks me to be his Girlfriend. Of course I say yes! Over the years Billy has grown with me through High school, College, to now finding a job. Along with this I have seen billy go through 3 jobs and starting his own business. Who would have known that almost 6 full years after meeting, a random 17 year old and an unwilling to settle down 21 year old would be getting married. We are so excited to not only share our story with you, but also include you in a major chapter! We can't wait to celebrate and see everyones beautiful faces at our wedding!
