Please note August is peak time for Maine, and Lobsterfest (Rockland, ME) is also occurring over the same weekend. Hotel prices may be higher than normal depending on where you go, and are filling up fast! The Senator offered the best deal in Augusta, so make sure to check that out. You can also find some great rental homes through Air BNB or VRBO in the Wayne area, and surrounding towns!
