Groom
We took the fast track down lover's lane. Call it the 'new fashioned' way of meeting people! After connecting online (Hinge), we met at Broadway Oyster Bar on a Saturday night in July. Conversation on the patio eventually led to dancing, and I tried my darndest to keep up. Sparks were flying... I was keen on her free flowing dance moves and stole a cheek kiss or two as she passed from one side of the dance floor to the other. Not long after, we spent time with each other nine out of the next eleven days. We became exclusive, we saw awesome local music shows, rode mules, and traveled to Colorado and California together. I asked her to marry me in in the best way I could... In front of 500+ people, at the Last Waltz Tribute Show, performed by Sean Canan and the Voodoo Players! And she said yes!! And I am still tingling.
Bride
I had nearly given up on finding "the one," and the night before I met Tyler was lamenting about the dating scene to my cousin Emily. When Tyler messaged me the next morning to see if I was interested in meeting up that night, I'd been planning to head out of town to a bluegrass festival. Thankfully, my plans changed, and I said yes to meeting up at the Oyster Bar that night. After talking for 2 hours, we headed to BB's and he asked me to dance. I kept my moves 'mild' for a song or two, and before I knew it was in my full blown dance mode and he was (mostly) keeping up with me. I was excited to see him again, and went on dates 2, 3, and 4, the following week. Not long after we drove out to Salida to see my friend Monica marry David - the beginning of a 30 hour road trip / 9 day adventure. I'll never forget when Tyler said at the camp site, "We make a great team." I've never felt so at ease and giddy at the same time. I am excited about every day I get to spend with Tyler and look forward to calling him my husband.
