We would like to be transparent in the steps we are taking to ensure we are following safety protocol guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic and will do our best to answer some questions on this page. The safety and well-being of our family and friends is our number one priority (besides getting married lol!) and we are working closely with our venue to ensure we create a safe space for all. Although we are hopeful that we will all have an opportunity to be vaccinated before our wedding, we want to make sure you do not feel pressured to attend a gathering if you are not comfortable. This pandemic is unprecedented and unpredictable, and we know everyone has a different comfort level when it comes to gatherings. We hope you make the decision that’s best for you/your family and want everyone to know that we will feel your support (both near and far) on our wedding day!
We received word that the state of Maine has relaxed it’s gathering restrictions so our venue will be operating at 100% capacity. There will be a maximum of 200 attendees.
Yes! We will encourage you to refrain from handshakes, hugs or other physical contact with any guests outside of your household. We have also created our seating plan to allow adequate space between guests during dinner.
Our ceremony will take place outside and our reception will be a combo— about half of the tables will be outside under a covered porch while the others are inside. The dance floor is also inside. That being said, windows and doors will remain open throughout the reception to keep the air circulating.
While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day.
We will provide hand sanitizers and staff will work to sanitize surfaces throughout the evening. All staff will be wearing gloves and masks and using plastic shields in front of all stations for any food being passed out to guests. While the venue does not require guests to wear masks, we do encourage it and will have plenty available.
Rest assured we will keep you in the loop regarding any important changes with an email alert.
