The Wedding Website of Molly Pocock and Tommy Steiner
Welcome to Virginia Beach! For those of you traveling to come see us, we wanted to make this as easy as possible for you to make a nice vacation out of our beach town! We are so excited to have you be here with us! There are a lot of details on this page but don't let it overwhelm you, we just want to make sure you know exactly where to be!

Travel Note

Cape Charles or Virginia Beach?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held in Cape Charles, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It is a beautiful, quiet resort town on the bay. If you're looking for a more laid-back weekend with no boisterous surf and lots of downtime to enjoy on the sand and in warm water, feel free to find a place to stay up here. Otherwise, we would encourage you to stay in Virginia Beach and make the 1 hour drive over to the venue on the day of! There is plenty to do here at all hours of the day; surfing, eating, boating, hiking, golfing, chilling at the beach, shopping... we could go on and on! This is Molly's hometown and she is so proud of it!

Travel Note

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

While on your way to our ceremony location from Virginia Beach, you'll cross over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel! Finished in 1964, this 17.6 mile long bridge-tunnel has a toll fee that will be $21 to cross in June, which is part of our peak season! If you feel uncomfortable driving across this on your own, there is a shuttle service where a worker will drive your car across for free! These views are gorgeous on every side!

Travel Note

Please read If you are attending our temple sealing!

The Washington DC temple is located just outside of DC, in Kensington, MD. If you are flying in early to attend our sealing, we would recommend flying into DC (any one of their airports will do!), renting a car to drive down to Virginia Beach, and flying out of the Norfolk International Airport(ORF)! You will be able to return your car to the ORF airport and avoid the traffic on the way back north from the beach!
