One of our favorite things about Basin Harbor is that all of the wedding festivities will take place right on the property. Basin Harbor offers a variety of on-site accommodations for our guests, including hotel rooms and cottages. We’re so grateful that so many of our guests have already booked their stays! Our wedding room block at Basin Harbor is now full! There may still be occasional availability on the property, so you’re welcome to call the resort directly to check for availability or cancellations. If you weren’t able to book on-site, there are still plenty of great options nearby. You may also want to check in with friends who are staying on the property, as some cottages can accommodate additional guests. Strong House Inn

Strong House Inn, located about 10 minutes away in Vergennes, is a lovely alternative offering comfortable rooms and a charming, relaxed Vermont inn setting making it a great nearby option for the weekend. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are limited in the area. To help ensure everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you plan ahead and arrange a designated driver to and from the events. If you anticipate needing assistance arranging safe transportation, please feel free to check in with us and we’ll do our best to help.

The Courtyard in Middlebury is another option, located about 30 minutes away. Rideshare options are limited in the area, so please plan ahead.

Burlington International Airport

The Burlington International Airport is about 50 minutes from Basin Harbor. While renting a car is an option, you won’t need a vehicle once you arrive at the resort. Here are some ways to get to and from Basin Harbor: Green Mountain Taxi: Vans and SUVs can accommodate 6–7 people, making it a great choice to share with other guests. Reservations can be made through the Basin Harbor Concierge/Front Desk or by calling Green Mountain Taxi directly at (802) 503-3096. Payment can be made by credit card, cash, or charged directly to your room. Uber: A convenient option from the airport to the resort.
