Things To Do

Since our wedding will be on a long weekend, you may be staying longer than just one night. We wanted to share some of the activities and spots that are important to us.

New Rivers

7 Steeple Street, Providence, RI 02903

This is the place where we said "I love you" to each other for the first time. Sparoh let it slip when Molly was hesitant to try an oyster for the first time. We fell in love with the restaurant too, and have been going back for special occasions ever since. Beautiful ambience and a delicious menu that changes with the seasons!

Osamequin Farm

80 Walnut Street, Seekonk, MA 02771

Yes, this is the wedding venue, but it is also a wonderful small farm that is nice to visit!

RISD Museum

20 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02903

This is a museum that Sparoh frequents quite often. It has a beautiful collection of works that appeal to all different tastes. Sundays are free! Be sure to find Sparoh's favorite painting, Paul Cezanne's 'Still Life with Apples."

Frog & Toad - East

795 Hope Street, Providence, RI 02906

Sparoh used to work for this business for three years. Although not an employee any longer, it has a great selection of trinkets and souvenirs. Stop by before you head out of Providence for a Rhode Island souvenir and support a small business!

Cliff Walk

Cliff Walk, Newport, RI 02840

A beautiful walk along the sea and past mansions galore! Also be sure to visit the Newport Mansions if you're there! A cool step into the past. We went here for a "Christmas Experience" with the Bond Family, and took a tour of the Breakers and we could not recommend it more!

Brickway On Wickenden

234 Wickenden Street, Providence, RI 02903

A great (and relatively cheap) breakfast spot!

Lippitt Memorial Park

1015 Hope Street, Providence, RI 02906

Farmer's market here on Saturdays 9am - 2pm! Maybe a great place to go for a little fruit and pastry before the ceremony!

Beavertail State Park

Beavertail Road, Jamestown, RI 02835

Jamestown is beautiful. Be sure to roll the windows down when you get close to enjoy the wondrous smell of the sea and end of spring air! Beautiful park with secret coves to swim!
