At first, our worlds collided serendipitously but not necessarily in a good way. We were both at different stages of our lives, our expectations miles apart. As many of you know, our relationship began secretly, months after I joined a company where Sourabh was focused on climbing the corporate ladder. Our paths would never have crossed, and our eyes would never have locked any other way. Little did I know that he had his sights set on me since the day I joined.. he just wasn't ready to risk his career. A fateful breakroom conversation on a Wine Wednesday gave Sourabh the courage to finally make the move. I had also always admired his talent and charm but was surprised and unsure.. but boy was he persistent. So we went on one date, then another, each one more thoughtful than the last. I was able to live life like never before, experiencing a lot of firsts and enjoying every moment. Right from the start, we got to a place where we could completely be ourselves together. We found that we balance each other in all the right ways, my Ying to his Yang. With every moment we shared together, our love for each other continued to grow.. until we realized it was meant to be.
