The first time we met goes all the way back to 2016! Tiffany, my sister-in-law, was hosting a surprise party for my brother. When I walked into their house, I exchanged a few hellos to the familiar faces, but someone new quickly caught my attention. Sitting calmly amongst the birthday chaos was a face I had never seen before. I'm not sure if we said hello that evening, but one thing I remember is how he made me feel. His demeanor, so peaceful and humble, felt welcoming. I left the party that evening thinking about him and wondered who in the world was this guy?!? Days later, I woke up to a message from: Ryan Waldorf. That conversation lead to a summer of exchanging messages, but it came time for me to head back to UGA and our conversations soon ended. The years went on...I graduated from college, started working at a financial planning firm, and was enjoying my little life in Athens, GA. One thing hadn't changed though and that was thinking about Ryan. I'd ask my brother every now and then how Ryan was doing, I'd check his FaceBook, and I often wondered if I had made the biggest mistake of my life by not continuing to talk to him. I won't go into all the details, but after weeks of consideration, encouragement from all my friends, and the help of my bestie/roommate, a simple text, on June 2, 2019, was sent. The rest is history, but it still makes me smile thinking back over the years that have lead us here. God's timing was perfect and for that, we are so thankful. - Molly
