This is the most convenient airport, located about 20-30 minutes by car from San Clemente. Most airlines fly into this airport, but there are few non-stop flights from the East Coast. From this airport you can rent a car or take Lyft/Uber to San Clemente.

San Diego Airport (SAN)

This airport is located about 60 minutes by car from San Clemente. The San Diego airport offers easier transit to San Clemente and most airlines fly here, and there are non-stop flights from the East Coast. From this airport you can rent a car, or arrange a shuttle/car to San Clemente.

The Volare, Ascend Hotel Collection

This hotel is the best option if you plan to spend time in downtown San Clemente. The Volaré is a quick walk from many great downtown restaurants and the San Clemente pier, and is a 5-minute drive to The Casino.

Flight

Los Angeles Airport (LAX)

This airport is less convenient, located about 60-90 minutes by car from San Clemente. Traffic between LA and San Clemente is consistently terrible, so please budget plenty of time for travel. LAX has non-stop flights from major US and international cities. From this airport we'd recommend renting a car or arranging a shuttle/car to get to San Clemente.

This hotel is located across the street from the beach, and many rooms have an ocean-front view! We recommend this hotel if you're planning to spend some time on the beach, and it's about a 5-minute drive from The Casino.
