"This is the way" - The first four words Patrick typed to Molly, commenting on a photo of Molly with a cat on her Hinge profile. Patrick’s thought process was to include a reference to his favorite thing while also showing that he enjoys cats. Although Molly didn't understand the Star Wars reference, she thought Patrick was cute so she replied anyway. They had their first date in August of 2020 and since then have traveled together, built lots of LEGO sets, watched too many TV shows and movies, played a lot of putt-putt, bought and renovated a house in Lakewood, and co-parent two cats, Mike and Elaine. They got engaged on May the fourth of 2024 and are so excited to get married in October!  PS: Molly now successfully understands the Star Wars reference and this line can even be seen as an engraving in her engagement ring - “This is the way”
