Ladies,
Think floor-length gown, silk slip gowns, structured and chic cocktail dresses, draped evening dresses, or tailored pantsuits.
We ask that you kindly avoid wearing solid black, white and ivory.
A wrap, shawl or coat is recommended, especially with Victoria’s famously unpredictable weather! While our reception will be held indoors, our ceremony and canapé hour will take place outdoors unless there is rainfall.
Please note that the Lake House grounds feature grassy areas and a number of steps leading down to our ceremony and back up to our canapé and reception area. We encourage you to keep this in mind when choosing your dancing shoes!
Gentlemen,
A black suit and tie is preferred, though darker tones like navy, brown or charcoal are equally appropriate if you wish to choose a different colour. If you don't own a suit, smart attire that you feel comfortable and confident in, is perfectly fine!
