Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at the church. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors by the pool and gardens, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We are minimizing the amount of grass in guest areas, so heels should be perfectly manageable. The reception will be held under a tent with flooring and temperature control, ensuring a comfortable experience regardless of the weather.

Are Children Invited?

We have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. Children participating in the wedding party will be in attendance, but we kindly ask that all other guests enjoy a night out with us. Thank you for understanding.

What is the Attire?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Upscale Garden Formal. While August temperatures can be warm, the reception will be held under a temperature-controlled tent, so we encourage guests to embrace the occasion and dress for an elegant summer evening celebration. Please see the Schedule of Events section for additional attire guidance.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

There is a section on the RSVP form to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please let us know there, and we will work with our caterer to accommodate your needs.

Is Transportation Provided?

Answer

Yes. Shuttle transportation will be provided throughout the evening for guests staying at the DoubleTree Hotel. Shuttles will transport guests from the hotel to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and back to the hotel at the end of the night. Shuttle service will begin at 4:00pm, picking guests up from the hotel. The DoubleTree Hotel is also approximately an 8-minute walk to the ceremony location, so guests who prefer to walk are welcome to do so.

Is There Parking Available?

Answer

Yes. Free parking is available at the church for the ceremony. For the reception, we kindly ask guests to park at the Washington High School parking lot, where shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the reception venue.
