What should I wear?
Answer
Our dress code is formal, black tie optional. Tuxes and long dress are optional - if it is not what you feel best in no pressure to wear it! We just want you to look and feel fabulous when you celebrate this day with us!

How will I get to the wedding?
Answer
There will be two shuttles leaving from The Emily Hotel in the West Loop starting at 4:30pm. There will be an additional shuttle taking guests from the Northbrook hotels, leaving at 4:45pm. These will take you to and from the wedding at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

How can I get around in the city?
Answer
Great question! The area around our downtown hotels is very hip with lots to do! There will be tons to eat and drink within walking distance. If you'd like to explore farther afield Chicago has a good public transport system (both train and bus), and there is always Uber or Lyft as well!

Do I need to bring a gift?
Answer
Having lived together for a number of years, we have amassed everything we need for our home. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Should you wish to honor us with a gift, we've decided to create a honeymoon fund and your generous contributions will help us create unforgettable memories as we start this new chapter of our lives.
