What is the transportation schedule for the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday?

Answer

Please arrive at the entrance to your hotel a few minutes early. Buses will depart promptly at the following locations and times: The Deer Brook Inn Pick Up Time: 3:00 PM Sleep Woodstock Pick Up Time: 3:10 PM The Blue Horse Inn Pick Up Time: 3:15 PM If you are staying at The Woodstocker B&B, please use the Blue Horse Inn Shuttle 506 On The River Pick Up Time: 3:20 PM The Shire Pick Up Time: 3:30 PM If you are staying at The Village Inn or The Vesper, please use the Shire shuttle Return Shuttle Schedule: Return shuttle at 9 pm (early trip) to The Deer Brook Inn, Sleep Woodstock, The Blue Horse Inn, 506 On the River, and The Shire . Final return shuttle to hotels will depart at the end of the reception (around 10 pm) to The Deer Brook Inn, Sleep Woodstock, The Blue Horse Inn, 506 On the River, and The Shire. All guests are invited to continue the celebration at Dr. Coburn’s Tavern! There will be a shuttle to return you to Deer Brook Inn, Sleep Woodstock, The Blue Horse Inn, 506 On the River, and The Shire at Midnight and a final shuttle at 1 AM. *PLEASE BE OUTSIDE DR. COBURN’s a few minutes before Midnight and 1 AM - the bus will not wait and Uber is not an option in Woodstock.

WHAT SHALL I WEAR?

Answer

It's confusing these days, right?! For the wedding itself, we're suggesting black tie attire. If you prefer not to wear a tux, you are welcome to wear a formal suit and tie. Please keep in mind that the reception is planned for outside in a grassy area. We will have heel protectors available for your shoes. For the welcome party on Friday, and the BBQ lunch and evening dessert and drinks on Saturday, please wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket for both occasions as it may get a little chilly at night.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE RECEPTION IF I WANTED TO DRIVE MYSELF?

Answer

Yes, there is public street parking around The Woodstock Inn and at the Woodstock Green. However, parking is limited so we recommend using the provided transportation. Please check the detailed schedule on the Travel Page.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We're asking that our weekend events be an adult-only celebration, so we encourage you to arrange childcare and come party with us kid-free!
