Molly & Mitchell's paths first crossed when Molly attended a protest at the Kentucky State Capital in 2018, where Mitchell works! A brief time later, their paths crossed again through social media, and Molly asked Mitchell to dinner at a local favorite, Thai Smile. They enjoyed the evening talking and sharing all about their interests and travels! They were the last customers in the restaurant by the end of the night! As they walked to their cars, a second date was planned and the rest is history!

Mitchell surprised Molly with a detour on their way to dinner one night. After a long snow in Kentucky, they ventured out to the Yuko-En Japanese Garden in Georgetown, Kentucky. Under the bright moon, Mitchell carried Molly across the snow to the azuma-ya gazebo, got down on one knee, and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him! She, of course, said yes!
