Do you have a hotel wedding block?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Baymont by Wyndham in Owatonna. Please call the hotel directly at 507-455-1142 to reserve your room. Please reference the Verdoorn/Hacker wedding and be sure to book your room by 11/5/2022 to receive the discounted rate.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all your little ones, we’d love to give all the parents a night off, this is an adults-only wedding with the exception of our bridal party. We appreciate you planning ahead to celebrate with us!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The Monterey Ballroom has plenty of parking space. Vehicles can be left overnight, just must be picked up by 10 am Sunday 11/27/22.

Will there be a sober cab back to the hotel?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle to bring guests back to the hotel. More information about this will come at a later time.

Is everything in one place?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, social hour, and reception will all be at the Monterey Ballroom.

Unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We ask that everyone puts their cameras and phones away for the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer and don’t want anyone accidentally jumping in their shots.

How do we RSVP?

Answer

You can scan the QR code on your invitation which will bring you to our wedding website. Our RSVP is all online through the RSVP page. We ask that you RSVP online by October 14th. With the Thanksgiving holiday our vendors need final counts a little sooner. We appreciate your cooperation with this.

How many guests can I bring?

Answer

Due to venue size limitations we respectfully ask that only those included on the invite are in attendance. If you have questions please reach out.

How will the bar work?

Answer

Beer, wine, and pop is on us all night. Cocktails will be available for your purchase as a cash bar option.
