If you haven't a received an invitation, please know that for the health of our loved ones and due to social distancing guidelines, we have decided to downsize our wedding. This was a tough decision, and we appreciate all of your love and understanding. We hope to be able to celebrate with all our of favorite people in the future <3
We met by chance at our mutual friend and officiant Ryan "Doc" Lowery's 30th birthday party. Doc was high school friends and roommates with Mike, and Molly and Doc worked together at the Church Brew Works. Despite having many mutual friends, we never actually met until that night where we connected over hip hop music, flip cup games and just good energy. Our early dates included Pittsburgh classics Mad Mex, and dinner at Industry Public House followed by a night on the river. Over the years we've had many good times including going to concerts, vacations to new cities, hanging with friends, our yearly trips to Philadelphia, cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams, and discovering neighborhood hotspots. We moved in together in the summer of 2015 and adopted our cat Mokey (Molly + Mikey = Mokey) in 2017.
Mike proposed on a winter Friday night during one of our favorite holiday traditions, visiting Downtown! We visited the Holiday Market, browsed the Santa and Gingerbread House display in PPG Place and then headed over to the ice skating rink where Mike got down on one knee. We celebrated with Molly's sister Sarah and friends Doc and Emily over festive drinks at a holiday popup bar and tacos at Condado. We're so excited for this next chapter in our lives and are thrilled to have you share in it!
