Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by May 15th, 2025, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to our vendors in a timely manner. We hope that you understand! As soon as you know whether or not you are able to attend, please go ahead and RSVP! In fact, while you are visiting our site, feel free to go ahead and RSVP.

Where are the festivities happening?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at the Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, NC. Please refer to the Schedule tab for a complete list of festivities and addresses.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, our wedding will be adults only. We appreciate you making babysitter accommodations ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Summer Garden Party. Think cocktail dresses, summer dresses, and light suits. No jeans, please. Keep in mind, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. Please wear comfortable shoes, as dancing is our priority!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. To ensure you are seated and settled before the ceremony, we encourage you to arrive at 5:00 pm.

Can I Take Photos During The Ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

What will we eat and drink?

Answer

Throughout the night, there will be an open bar - the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you so get ready to celebrate! During cocktail hour, we will have light appetizers. We will be serving a full dinner, but there will be no designated time for a seated meal. You will be able to grab your food and sit wherever! If you have any dietary restrictions, our menu will have gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options.

What is the transportation situation?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Graylyn Estate, and transportation services will not be provided to and from the venue. Graylyn has plenty of parking.

What about the weather?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside while the reception will be an indoor/outdoor affair, weather permitting. The ceremony space will be shaded, and water will be provided during the ceremony. We expect the weather to be in the mid to low 80s during ceremony time.
