Downtown Blowing Rock
Downtown Blowing Rock is a fantastic place to walk, get some ice cream at Kilwins, have great food at Mellow Mushroom or Town Tavern, explore the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum, shop the cutest boutiques around, and maybe even pick up a book or two :)
Bisque Boutique
Enjoy a fun creative experience and paint some pottery! This is truly one of the best spots, along with the rest of downtown Hickory that's great for walking, eating, and shopping.
Brushy Mountain Golf Club
This is truly Mack's favorite golf course, so of course it needed to be on here! With great veiws and great weather, this course is a dream even when just riding along. It's a bit further out than Cedar Rock, but "it's definitely worth it" as Mack likes to say.
Original Mast General Store
If you’re wanting to explore the mountains a bit, this is such a great spot. The general store has a little bit of everything, and just down the road (less than a mile), the Annex is packed with candy and fun finds. Right behind the Annex, you’ll find Valley Crucis Community Park, one of the largest parks we’ve come across, with multiple playgrounds, easy river access for fishing, and a paved walking trail that loops around the entire park. It makes for a relaxing but fun day!

Looking for good sushi? We highly reccomend this restraunt for their kindness, cozy environment, and of course the delicious fresh sushi.
Bo's Family Entertainment
Bo's has great bowling lanes, laser tag, an arcade, putt-putt, and pizza!
Tweetsie Railroad
Tweetsie is a great place if you have kids. Enjoy some great food, carnival rides, an interactive train ride, and even a petting zoo!
Tee 2 Green Indoor Golf & Lounge
If you love golf but don't want to spend 5 hours on a course, spend an hour or two here with the golfing simulators and we promise you'll leave happy!
High Gravity Adventures Zip Line & Aerial Park
High Gravity is a great place to take older kids and even yourself if you want a bit of adventure. You'll be strapped into a huge zipline playground, and have the time of your lives!
Blue Ridge Parkway Access
If you're looking for a relaxing drive, the parkway is the best choice. During spring, you'll see plenty of flowers and greenery, along with some spots to park and look at the incredible views, and some short hikes to beautiful waterfalls.
Cedar Rock Country Club Golf
For our golfers, this is one of the best courses in our area.
