October 2021. Molly had just packed up her life, driven across the country with five plants in tow and was following her dad driving the UHaul slightly ahead of her to Denver, CO (forever grateful for the manual labor and support, Miles Joseph Murphy the third). Krieg was living his best life, having moved to CO four years prior and winning the state over with his smiley nature. Little did he know, that smile would be the highlight of Molly's everyday very soon soon. They crossed paths in a trendy kickball arena designed for Denver transplants to find their people, Krieg ready to win every game and Molly ready to socialize. After a few games, Krieg began to look forward to Molly's humor and Molly looked forward to hearing Krieg laugh at each joke without fail (especially the dad jokes). The relationship was first built upon a foundation of friendship, something they both truly cherished. Suddenly, this unfamiliar state began to feel more familiar and organic. Krieg and Molly had a lot in common, having gone through so many wins in life and also the losses of such vibrant family members. They understood the importance of living life to the fullest and strive to do so each day. They went on their first hike at Staunton National Park, ten miles of chatter, but also natural silence when they became out of breath. It felt easy, organic. Three and a half years later, Krieg proposed to Molly on that very same trail. There was no question that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together, there was only pure conviction.
