Things To Do

We're so excited to celebrate with everyone. Please see below for a few of our favorite spots in the city. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out! We want you to make the most of the weekend

Restaurants

⸻⸻⸻ River Shannon: 425 W Armitage Ave The site of Kevin and Molly's first date! Is it nice? No. Is it conveniently located near the hotels? Also no. But they pour a nice Guinness and it's dog friendly! Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba: 2024 N Halsted St The site of our second date! The food is delicious but we would recommend reservations. It is tapas style and great for groups Beatrix: 519 North Clark Street Not the site of date #3, but a favorite conveniently located near the hotels. We especially recommend brunch, though you really can't go wrong Portillos: 100 W Ontario St A Chicago classic just steps from the hotels. Molly would suggest saving this for Sunday given the grease and Kevin will probably be having it for lunch on the big day Other Favorites Near the Hotels: Quartinos for Italian, Sushi-san, Lou Malnati's for deep dish, Avli for Greek, Three dots and a dash for a tiki cocktail, Mercadito or Xoco for Mexican, and Rock & Roll McDonalds - no explanation needed

Activities

⸻⸻⸻ Architecture Boat Tour: If the weather is nice, the Chicago architecture boat tours are a great way to see the city. Every tour is different and you always learn something new. Lincoln Park Zoo Kevin works at a zoo, Molly likes zoos so we had to include this one. It's free and great activity if the weather is nice The Obama Presidential Center Just opened this summer! Tickets are required for the Museum Tower but the rest of the campus is free and open to the public. The Art Institute of Chicago Tickets are required, but it's well worth a visit if you enjoy art, history, or architecture The Riverwalk Great for a walk, a drink, or a meal along the Chicago River. Millennium Park & The Bean A Chicago classic. Stop by Cloud Gate ("The Bean"), stroll through Millennium Park, and enjoy the lakefront
