Post Rehearsal Dinner on Friday (4/8), we will be hanging at Crush which is on site at the Meritage! Most likely, this will also be the after party location as well on Saturday night.
There are 6 tasting rooms on site at the resort!
Head up the Silverado Trail and go wine tasting!! So many great wineries - my Uncle, George W. Giusti, family sommelier has recommended the following: Pine Ridge (www.pineridgevineyards.com) Conn Creek (www.conncreek.com) Caymus (caymus.com) All 3 are on the southern end of the trail and not far from the resort. They offer both reds and whites that usually get in the high 80s-low 90s from the Wine Spectator.
Another area to go wine tasting in that is just as close as the Silverado Trail is the Carneros area. Uncle George has recommended the following two wineries: Etude (www.etudewines.com) Artesa (www.artesawinery.com) Both wineries offer reds and white. Make sure to book your tastings ahead of time!
This sprawling marketplace features a riverside deck, food vendors, local produce & more. Rumor is that Thomas Keller actually shops here for his restaurants.
Recommended by Bruno! This place makes and sells great olive oils. Book a tour to pick olives and see the entire making process!
