Formal invitations will be heading your way this winter. Kindly RSVP online by Friday, February 18, 2022.
You will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible and online RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please check your invite for your plus one. They will either be addressed by name or by "and guest" on your invitation.
As much as we love your little ones, the event will be an adults only affair. All individual invitees will be named on the formal invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!
The three hotels are listed under the "Travel" tab. the Courtyard Marriott Holland is located in downtown Holland and is where Kaz and I will be staying. The other two hotels are good options as well. We recommend booking early with our group code to reserve a room.
No, there will not be a shuttle offered between any of the hotels and the reception venue. Uber and Lyft are options, but are very limited in Holland. Please plan to drive or carpool with someone and enjoy the evening responsibly.
Parking is ample and free in the parking lot behind the venue. There is also street parking available if needed. Choose whichever is most convenient for you.
The spaces are fully accessible. Please contact the property if you have additional questions or are making a reservation and have requests for specific accessibility needs.
We are hoping for an unplugged ceremony. Please kindly keep cellphones away and silence all devices. We will have two wedding photographers to capture all the best shots. For the reception - feel free to capture moments joyfully!
We have arranged for our 4pm ceremony to flow right into a 5pm cocktail hour for guests, and then to the reception to avoid a gap in the festivities.
Cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception.
There will be hor d'oeuvres (with at least one vegetarian option) served at cocktail hour and a plated meal during the reception. Please indicate on your online RSVP which dinner item you'll enjoy that evening. The bar will be open during cocktail hour and into the reception.
The color is called "desert rose" and it is close to a mauve color.
Weather in Michigan in March is a toss up; it could be snowy or a lovely sunny winter day. There is a complementary coat check near the entrance.
If you would like to contribute a gift and are looking for ideas, please visit the "Registry" tab on this website.
Matron of Honor, Emily Marx (248-227-9399) is wonderful & should be able to help with most questions! If she's unable to answer right away, please leave her a voicemail or shoot her a text. But, we are also available and you can reach the bride directly at 248-885-3171.
We kindly ask that you contact Sally Kolar (248-933-4171) if you have RSVP'ed but week of the wedding find yourself no longer able to attend.
