It was a cold, snowy December Saturday night in Minneapolis. Molly went out with her best friend Alex and Karl went out with his Luther College buddies to attend the Minneapolis Christmas bar crawl at a bar called The Pourhouse. Molly & Alex walked around The Pourhouse and found a group of cute guys. Molly decided to approach the group and approached the one with a beard. We found commonalities in sports, love of tacos & margaritas, and country music. We danced and talked all night long! We went on our first date to a bar in our Uptown neighborhood the following Friday, and the rest is history.

Fast forward 4 years to a hot, humid Saturday in June. We went for a walk early in the morning in the gardens near our townhouse. It was hot outside, but little did Molly know, Karl was sweating for another reason. He had a huge ring box in his athletic shorts!! We stopped on a bridge looking at some swimming critters and Karl got down on one knee. Molly cried and said OF COURSE. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter with our favorite people.
