Molly's great aunt Jeanne, whom Molly owes for her middle name, moved from Detroit to Estes Park with her sister in the mid 1960s. The two story cabin in which they lived has not lost any of its charm (or old appliances), and it has been lovingly kept in the Wylie family where it will stay. Molly and Justin have enjoyed Estes with friends for years, and are grateful to have this magical home away from home. Welcome to our favorite place!

Rocky Mountain National Park

When reservations open, be sure to get a timed entry permit for the park (click the link below)! Head to the Beaver Meadows Entrance or the Fall River Entrance to do some of our favorite hikes: Bear Lake (easy), Sprague Lake (easy), Emerald Lake (moderate), and Twin Sisters (hard). You can also find great hikes at RMNP's Lumpy Ridge, a massive granite rock complex with its own separate entrance from the other hikes. We love Twin Owls and Gem Lake. You're guaranteed a good leg workout with both!

Estes Park Aerial Tramway

Want the best view in Estes Park? Get high! The aerial tramway has been taking visitors to the summit of Prospect Mountain since 1955. $16 for adults, $14 for adults 60+, $10 for children 6-11, and free for kids 5 and under.

Stanley Hotel Tour

The Stanley Hotel is famous...and infamous for its "haunted" history. Join a one hour tour and learn about the history, architecture, and folklore of the hotel that inspired Stephen King's The Shining. And if you're really feeling brave, check out their night tour on Friday!
